We’re raising our glasses to our victory at the Kleine Zeitung’s wine competition. In one of the supreme disciplines for Styrian wine, Hansi and his team achieved 1st place in the Weinkost 2020 wine competition.
Of all the entries, Schneeberger’s Sauvignon Blanc 2019 DAC was declared the supreme winner. Here’s a taste of the judges’ verdict: “In the nose a delicious, aromatic duet of gooseberry and white peach; on the palate a harmonious balance of fruit, body and spice; a consistently complex texture, ending in a long finale with a wonderfully balanced extracted sweetness.”
This success was rounded off by a third place in the local Sauvignon blanc category with our Sauvignon blanc Kitzeck-Sausal DAC 2018 (now only available from the Kleine Zeitung!!!!). This is also one of the best Styrian wines in terms of quality. We are pleased that our wines have held their own so well. So, now there’s another good reason to stop by the Buschenschank tavern or our online shop. Because our winning wines are in great demand.
