Our Buschenschank tavern in Heimschuh welcomes vegetable fans and carnivores, gourmets and wine connoisseurs almost all year round. In summer in the beautiful garden, in winter by the snug tiled stove. Some prefer our home-marinated salmon trout with horseradish. Others are crazy about our juniper-smoked ham. And someone at the next table has ordered a selection of our finest pastries. But before that, you have to try our venison liver pâté. As you can see: we won’t let anyone go home hungry.

Johann Schneeberger Senior has a soft spot for pigs. He has adapted a broad meadow with a stream and a wallow to guarantee ideal conditions for his animals. The best feed from the region and a lot of time are needed to help the Sausal free-range pigs grow. And that comes through in the flavour, as both guests and experts can tell. We won eleven prizes at the latest speciality awards for our pork belly and our herb loin bacon.
